Our daughter went to step in the right direction and had an amazing experience. The staff was very professional and the facilities were top notch. Daughter has continued making progress with her addiction.
I give it 5 stars for all the negative reviews. What is going on here?
I am a graduate of A Step In The Right Direction’s IOP. I have learned valuable tools and coping mechanisms through the groups and the therapists that were leading them. I learned stabilization with my sobriety first before trying to handle all underlining issues. I worked with a wonderful therapist that had a different approach that resonated with me. I worked with a life coach that taught me simple life skills that I did not have at the time. I learned how to solely focus on my recovery and well-being. I didn’t pay attention to the gossip of others so I didn’t get caught up and end up following in their footsteps. I was never good at asking for help, but this program taught me how to not only accept a helping hand but to ask for help when there was no hand out. Throughout my time at IOP there were the ups and downs but by coming every day with an open mind to learn and to better myself, I could roll with the punches especially when they did not fall my way. I am now able to think for myself without having to ask someone if it is the right thing to do. I can stand on my own two feet with my head held high and walk through life with a new attitude. The IOP taught so many valuable things that I did not first realize while I was in IOP. Now that I have left the program, I use everything that was taught to me in my daily living. Brittany S.
This facility saved a cherished family member's life. My family member has been in and out of numerous facilities over the years and we started to feel like it was hopeless. He said that every facility was the same. It was a "fake" environment where you couldn't get to drugs, so you weren't really learning how to say no. This Outpatient Treatment Center was different because it gave me family member the tools to use to avoid the negative substances while they were still a risk. For him, being able to receive treatment this way was way more valuable. It is a really nice facility with great people who genuinely care. They don't beat people up who mess up. They really helped him and taught him how to pick himself up and keep it moving. I will forever be grateful to the staff here for their continued support.
I work full time, but needed an outpatient treatment center to help with my alcohol addiction issues. For a long time I was under the impression that I could control my drug and drinking without the need for any help. I was very head strong and did anything I could to control this issue on my own. It was like I was an actor: at work performing at a very high level and at home being angry and disconnected from my family and friends. When I heard about A Step in The Right Direction I was excited to find an opportunity to work on my personal issues in a focused environment and not have to check myself into an inpatient rehab. The staff at A Step in the Right direction is amazing. In my journey to get sober I worked with a dedicated team of Doctors dedicated to helping with my personal and spiritual growth. I can not thank the team more.
I love you you are my favorite
